About the event
In times of uncertainty, Saint Joseph offers us a model of quiet strength, faith, and devotion. As the protector of the Holy Family, his example guides all of us towards a deeper commitment to God and one another. On Saint Joseph’s Day, we come together as a community to honour his virtues through prayer, reflection, and celebration. Join us for a day of talks, Holy Mass, confession, Eucharistic Adoration, and family-friendly activities as we seek to live in a father’s heart, inspired by Saint Joseph.
The day will begin with Eucharistic Adoration at 8:00 AM (the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available at this time), followed by the Holy Mass at 9:00 AM. We will then proceed to the parish hall at 10:00 AM for registration and morning tea. We will return to the church for another Eucharistic Adoration at 3:00 PM, and the day will conclude with the beautiful Consecration to Saint Joseph.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided for all attendees. We also welcome donations, whether monetary or in the form of food contributions. If you would like to support this event financially, please contact Ellen at hfparish@xtra.co.nz
To assist us with catering, PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE.
We warmly invite you to join us for this special day of grace, learning, and reflection, allowing Saint Joseph, the Guardian of Families, to guide us closer to Jesus. Bring your loved ones as we honour Saint Joseph and deepen our commitment to living as a family of faith. We look forward to seeing you there and finding strength in a Father’s Heart!
